Observing Baseball’s Two-Year Anniversary

Sorry it’s two days late– given October 13th was Observing Baseball’s two-year anniversary– (YouTube was giving me problems uploading it, FOUR TIMES) but this is a video tribute-type thing I did for two years of Observing Baseball. Feel free to pause the video to click the links below the video that I allude to in the video itself. The reason I wanted to celebrate this way is because I know a bunch of you have joined on in the past year. Also, sorry for the length. I prioritized having everything in there over making it watchable for people with ADD. Enjoy:

Mateo, you have a better memory than I do. I mean, if you were to ask where I was on July 9th, I could tell you: The Home Run Derby, in Kansas City. But if you were to ask me where I was on, say, August 14th, I couldn’t tell you. So, I guess I have a good memory; just not when it comes to random dates.

yes, I was talking about the whole blog, but this video was great too. I enjoy seeing other MLB parks, because I have only been to Turner Field three times. I live in Knoxville TN, so I am pretty far away from all the other parks. Anyway, I enjoy the blog very much!

Matt- Yeah, I remember random things. For example if you just tell me the date of one of the games I’ve gone to, sometimes I can tell you exactly what happened at that game just from the date. Although, even though I probably would have guessed correctly had you asked me, there’s a small chance I would have said January 19th or 21st. But I’m 75% sure I would have guessed January 20th.

Congrats! I’ve only been a frequent reader since February of 2011, but during that time I can honestly say it’s been fun to follow along. The two-year anniversary of my blog doesn’t roll around until January 20th, but as of right now I don’t have anything special planned. But anyway, I really enjoyed the video. Keep up the great blogging.

Matt- First of all, thank you for being with me for that long. Since I was getting SOME views back then, there must have been other people reading, but I can’t think of one person who has regularly interacted with me via the blog before that. Anyway, for whatever random reason, your blog’s anniversary date has stuck in my head as well as the title of the first entry: Explanation of Me. May you keep up the great blogging too. Who knows where we can take this thing.

Hello, observers of baseball. Let me know what you though of the entry no matter what you thought of it. Additonally, let me know if you'd like to see me do anything in specific or what I'm doing right or wrong when I do write entries.
